About the Artist

In 2008, I fortuitously refuged at a Native American Vision Quest site in the Rocky Mountains.   

Over time, I had lost the soul of my artistry and my life. Upon landing at the base of this mound of rock, I sat quietly by the river and my life changed when I came face to face with a wild bull elk. I embraced the spiritual guidance of my ancestors through spirit guides they sent to me.  The boundaries of my art expanded as I captured the soul & spirit of this quest I found myself on. 

The Wapiti & Horse became guiding animals in my life, They inspired new artwork, books and coaching on Spirit Animals and their connection in our life.  

 I look forward to sharing these gifts with you.  My journey has many twists and turns, joys and heartache, success and failure as most in life endure. With your support, I continue to explore life through art.

Exploring black & white offered a new vision for the photographic works. Where most see a loss of color, I see a canvas to splash a bit of your imagination on.  I feel the spiritual emotions differently and sometimes more potently than in a color photo. Each digitally crafted canvas offers a simplicity that leads us to hear as the subject speaks to us.   

Photographing a wild animal is a window into their soul, a reflection of this moment in their life. A chance to sit quietly and hear the earth speak!

Mandala artistry has pushed the spiritual connection with these guides even further. Sharing the inner connections, emotions and power even more. 

A recently found vintage metal loom prompted exploration into boxes of scrap yarns, fibers & vintage jewelry that I have collected for a decade. In 2021, mini fiber art tapestry’s were born from these found treasures.  Each piece of artwork takes hours searching treasured fibers to combine textures, colors and design to infuse nostalgic harmony with the vintage jewelry accents.  One of a kind limited works of art will be produced until the box of found treasures are gone.  

I have been hooked on creating, exploring and showing artwork since I won my first art show ribbon in elementary school.  I have explored art in architectural drawing, digital media, mural work, ceramics, graphic design, photography, videography, animation, fabric creations, quilting, dolls, stuff animals, crochet, knitting, fiber art and reworking vintage items. I am a published author, a professional photographer, a crafter of whimsical gifts and a gallery artist.  

I have explored so many areas of artistry that I started coaching in my late 20's.  I love to support others in creating their artistic goals!
